Most Pageviews: How I Met My Husband (This can't possibly be because my story is so interesting, but I imagine it's because the title is an oft-searched one), which was followed closely by one of our guest writers Alexa, Being Feminine in a Masculine World. Tess' Domestic Drudgery or Loving Service was fairly popular as well, and rightly so.
Nancy Shuman, of The Cloistered Heart blog, did several posts for us this year and they are all immensely popular. If you've not heard of her, check out an Intro to the Cloistered Heart.
Sarah's Favourites: I loved Tess' post on how to throw a Downton-Inspired Dinner Party.
Of my own writing, there were two posts that stuck out for me this year. One I immensely enjoyed writing was about being confidently vulnerable, and the other was called Words. Have. Meaning. The idea of it shook me to my very core - I was shaking while writing it - and I'm glad I did. I'm very passionate about all women being beautiful in some way, shape or form.
Tess' Favourites: I really enjoy our repeating series: What I wore this Sunday, Leaves, Pink'd, and ReGift. It's never good to be too serious all the time, right? I also like having contributions from guest readers. Sadly there weren't very many last year - something we'll have to improve on this year!
A topic I feel very strongly about is preparing for a holy death. It's not cheerful and it's not fun but I believe it is important to think about. My post, A holy death, came right from my heart.
Sarah's Spiritual side of the abortion issue was so powerful - it definitely made an impact, even beyond the pages of TFG. One I had a great deal of fun writing was Kicking sexy to the curb. Fun though it was, it too is a topic I feel strongly about... well, two topics, actually: the power of words (and therefore the importance of using them wisely) and the need to value women for something other than their physical appeal.
Events in 2013: We spoke at the Dynamic Women of Faith Conference in March 2013, which was a fantastic experience all around. Dorothy from Gutsy Catholic Mom organized the whole thing, and we were thrilled to be a part of it all. We posted our talk in two parts and you can read part one here and part two here.
Another exciting event was the Great Unveiling of our New Look!! It was a big step, one that took a fair amount of thought and discussion and research. We're so happy with the result, and are immensely pleased with the work of LaDesignerie on Etsy.
