Ever go to sleep at night wondering what you've done today...where the day went?  You know you were busy, but nothing got accomplished?  Well here's a revolutionary idea...a time diary.  Check out Modern Mrs. Darcy's review on the book "What the most successful people do before breakfast".

I'm sure we're all at the age where we're either planning or attending baby showers.  A friend of mine is expecting and her sisters threw this shower for her - and I think the theme is just delightful.  All of the tiny little extras were so beautiful, I just had to share.

This was too interesting not to share...a great example of a blog post that catches you from the beginning, and then takes you deeper.  Bad Catholic explores integrity and perfection within the concept of beauty - how form must follow function for a thing to be beautiful - and relates that to the beauty of a woman at different times in her life.

And...I'm a **tiny** little bit of a Pinterest junkie.  Every couple of days I go 'Pinteresting' and find recipes, ideas for crafts, photography, outfits, tea parties, stain removal, paint colours, house decor, hairstyles, and just about everything else you can imagine.  So when I came across this...I totally wished I was a better seamstress, because this idea is absolutely adorable!!!

A friend and I are putting on a Victorian-themed Tea Party in a couple of weeks, and I've been combing the net for ideas for decor, recipes and the like.  Martha Stewart's got quite a few recipes online for beauties like these grapefruit cream filled cookies, or these radish tea sandwiches specifically for tea parties - but I'm still looking for other suggestions.  If you know of any sites or have any ideas, please do comment.  I think I'm going to have oodles of fun baking for this party!

  2. The radish sandwiches look great. We're growing radishes in our garden -- maybe they'll be ready in time!

About

What is a woman? What does it mean to be feminine? There is softness and hardness, compassion and ferocity. There is contentment and adventure, freedom and service. We're conundrums, especially to ourselves, but we all, in some way, possess beauty, creativity, intuition and love. We were made for love, and we are loved, cellulite and all. Here we aim to show every woman the richness and beauty of her own femininity and explore current issues relating to women in our world. We also wish to share our own experiences - exploring the joys and challenges of stay-at-home moms and single professionals and everyone in between. Welcome! So glad you're here!
