This is for all those who are mothers in the literal sense.  Those women who are depended upon by the Littles entrusted to them.  Those who lay awake nights wondering whether they have done right by their children in bringing them up the way they should go. Those who wipe dirty noses, change dirty diapers, break up fights and guard and keep the hearts of their little ones.

This is for all mothers in the non-literal sense.  Those who take an active role in the lives of children, family or not.  Those who work with and for single moms, parents with large families and any of those struggling to care for their Littles.  This is for all those women who stand up for the marginalized, give voice to the voiceless, and for those unsung heroines who work tirelessly for the family.

And this is for all those ladies with motherly hearts.  Those who long for children and who practice their maternity in other ways.

To one and all mothers – May Jesus bless your motherly hearts immensely: bring comfort to you in your anxieties and be with you in the joys and sorrows that are yours alone.  May Our Lady, the Blessed Mother of us all, give you guidance and peace in the duty of this moment.

Happy Mothers Day from The Feminine Gift.

What is a woman? What does it mean to be feminine? There is softness and hardness, compassion and ferocity. There is contentment and adventure, freedom and service. We're conundrums, especially to ourselves, but we all, in some way, possess beauty, creativity, intuition and love. We were made for love, and we are loved, cellulite and all. Here we aim to show every woman the richness and beauty of her own femininity and explore current issues relating to women in our world. We also wish to share our own experiences - exploring the joys and challenges of stay-at-home moms and single professionals and everyone in between. Welcome! So glad you're here!
