July 1, 2011
What a weekend this is, bookended by Canada Day on one side, and Independence Day on the other.  We also have the beautiful  twin Feasts of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  It seems appropriate that the national holidays of both Canada and the United States are celebrated so near to the feasts of Our Lord and Lady.

The heart is a symbol of love, and it is also the spiritual symbol of the entirety of a person.  To know the heart of a loved one, is to know them to the core; and to be given some one's heart, is to receive all of them.

On these days of celebration, both secular and spiritual, we at The Feminine Gift pray that you know and receive  the love of Jesus Christ and His Beloved Mother.

St. Joseph, patron saint of Canada, we ask for your special prayers today, on our country, our government leaders, and on all Canadians.

About

What is a woman? What does it mean to be feminine? There is softness and hardness, compassion and ferocity. There is contentment and adventure, freedom and service. We're conundrums, especially to ourselves, but we all, in some way, possess beauty, creativity, intuition and love. We were made for love, and we are loved, cellulite and all. Here we aim to show every woman the richness and beauty of her own femininity and explore current issues relating to women in our world. We also wish to share our own experiences - exploring the joys and challenges of stay-at-home moms and single professionals and everyone in between. Welcome! So glad you're here!
